Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SapphireCore mobile application ("App") operated by SapphireCore ("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SapphireCore, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

SapphireCore is a personal finance management application that:

• Connects to your financial accounts via Plaid to retrieve account balances and transaction history.
• Provides AI-powered financial insights and analysis.
• Tracks net worth, spending patterns, investments, and budgets.
• Sends reminders and notifications for bills and financial events.

SapphireCore is a read-only financial tool. We cannot move money, initiate payments, or modify your bank accounts in any way.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to use the App. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access.

You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties.

4. Bank Account Connections

SapphireCore uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. to connect your bank and investment accounts. By connecting your accounts, you authorize us to retrieve and display your financial data within the App. You may disconnect any account at any time from within the App settings.

We access your financial data solely to provide the services described in these Terms. We do not sell, share, or use your financial data for advertising purposes.

5. AI Financial Insights

The AI-powered financial analysis provided by SapphireCore is for informational purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You should consult a qualified financial advisor before making financial decisions. SapphireCore is not a registered investment advisor.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App to store or transmit malicious code.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Use the App if you are under 18 years of age.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by SapphireCore and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any financial data retrieved from third-party services.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SapphireCore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App, including any financial losses resulting from decisions made based on App data or AI insights.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App settings. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in California.
